I just read Pamela McClintock’s mid-year box office report on Hollywood Reporter. I had a feeling that this year’s box office was doing pretty good, especially with surprise hits from the get go, like “The Devil Inside,” “Chronicle,” “The Woman in Black,” and “Act of Valor.” Those films grossed in the $50M-$70M range and were released during the first two months of the year. read more
