One of Hawaii’s main arguments was the ban would hurt its tourism industry, which is so very important to its economy.
Our 50th state also argued the ban violated federal law because it discriminated against people of certain nationalities and religions. More

Wilkes-Barre General Hospital emergency room put on lockdown Monday WILKES-BARRE — The emergency room at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital was placed on lockdown Monday evening after a man walked in with an injury.
Hospital spokeswoman Renita Fennick confirmed around 8 p.m. that the ER had “briefly” been locked down, but the status had been lifted.
According to Wilkes-Barre police, a man “turned up injured” at the emergency room but was “less than forthcoming” about how he got hurt. More
