Marvel caught some heat recently for not giving their female characters proper due on the big screen. While the studio made strides with Captain America: The Winter Soldier (Black Widow), Guardians of the Galaxy (Gamora) and TV's upcoming Agent Carter (Peggy Carter), the male-to-female ratio is still pretty skewed. However, Guardians director James Gunn has plans to help change that in Guardians 2. While covering the filmmaker's Dragon Con panel in Atlanta, Collider noted Gunn's aim to introduce even more female characters in the MCU.
