A motorcyclist was killed after colliding with a truck in northeastern Colorado Springs on Saturday afternoon, police said. The motorcycle was traveling north on Black Forest Road just before 2 p.m. when the rider attempted to pass several cars on the opposite lane and crashed into a truck that was attempting to make a right turn onto Foxtrot Lane, killing the rider, police said. Police said the rider, who was wearing a helmet, was traveling at a high speed. The driver of the truck was treated for non-serious injuries at a hospital and is expected to survive, police said.
