NBC is taking on a Nancy Drew series after CBS gave it a shot last season NBC is developing the series Nancy Drew, inspired by the books written under the pen name Carolyn Keene, according to Deadline. The show is coming to us from Doubt creators Tony Phelan and Joan Rater, producer Dan Jinks and CBS TV Studios. CBS tried to develop the project last season with Phelan, Ratner and Jinks.
