Nascar Penalizes Stewart, Dillon

Milwaukee King’s Keyshawn Davis leads the state in the long jump and ranks second in the triple jump heading into the sectional meet Thursday at Sussex Hamilton. The meet is the final step toward reaching the state meet in La Crosse next week.

The Chicago White Sox say pitcher John Danks will be activated from the disabled list and make his first start in more than a year against Miami on Friday. Danks is coming off a season-ending shoulder injury and has not pitched in a major league game since May 19, 2012.

Mike Goodson pled not guilty to all weapons and drug charges at his first hearing Wednesday at the Morris County Superior Court, as expected.
