RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) — The House and Senate agree there should be a new course of legal action for people to collect monetary damages from terrorists who harm a person or damage one's property. But before the Senate voted unanimously Tuesday for the measure, senators added a provision allowing some North Carolina National Guard members to carry a concealed handgun while carrying out their duties.
