Neese Not Resident Of Congressional District She Seeks

By Chris CasteelStaff writerccasteel@oklahoman.comRepublican Terry Neese, who announced last week her plans to run for the congressional seat that includes most of Oklahoma County, does not live in the district she hopes to represent, according to public records. Neese, 71, lives in an area of Canadian County that is part of the 3rd Congressional District, voter registration and Ethics Commission records show. She said last week she will seek the GOP nomination in the 5th Congressional District, which includes most of Oklahoma County and Pottawatomie and Seminole Counties. In her announcement last week, Neese said, “Like many of the hard-working residents of the 5th District, I am deeply concerned with the political infighting in Washington and the direction in which our country is moving.” She also said she believes “our district has a chance to get our nation back on track.” The 5th District is represented by U.S.
