New Name, Stock Symbol For Philadelphia's Shipyard

The only commercial shipyard in the region has a new name. Following a shareholders meeting Monday, Aker Philadelphia Shipyard will now be known as Philly Shipyard Inc., according to a Philly.com report. The name change also comes with a stock symbol change – AKPS will be replaced by PHLY on Dec. 3.
