Newberg Teen Identified As Clackamas River Drowning Victim

Brandt W. Hatch, 18, tried to swim across the river with two other friends at Milo McIver Park on June 29, but didn't make it to the other side, according to the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office. Witnesses said he had been underwater for about 10 minutes by the time emergency responders arrived.
