(AP) — A university in Tennessee says it has canceled Bill Cosby's scheduled appearance at a benefit dinner amid allegations made by women accusing the comedian of sexual assault. (AP) — A grand jury has indicted a Florida man in a crash that caused the death of a Nashville, Tennessee, police officer. Officer Michael Petrina was killed in May when he was struck by a motor home on Interstate 65 while directing traffic after a vehicle overturned near Brentwood. The officer and a Tennessee Department of Transportation Help Truck operator had blocked two of the four lanes as the vehicle was being cleared. Police say 71-year-old Dean Joseph Diver of Key Largo, Florida, tried to drive between Petrina's police car and the Help Truck but ended up hitting the officer. (AP) — A political consultant hired to work in Secretary of State Tre Hargett's office reserved a website in the event his boss decided to run for governor.
