Fox Walden has released the first trailer for The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader , opening in 3D and 2D theaters on December 10. Directed by Michael Apted, the third film in the franchise stars Georgie Henley, Skandar Keynes, Ben Barnes, Will Poulter, Gary Sweet, Bruce Spence, Arthur Angel, Shane Rangi and Liam Neeson.

Walden Hires New Narnia Writer

Now that they've cemented their partnership on the next "Narnia" sequel, Fox 2000 and Walden Media are moving forward on a new draft for the "Voyage of the Dawn Treader" script, hiring Michael Petroni to take over for Richard LaGravanese.

 

Why Narnia Fell

Although the less than stellar box office returns for The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian (at least compared to what the previous installment, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, earned), has been the most widely touted reason why Walt Disney Pictures dumped the Narnia franchise last month, a new report suggests that a rift between Disney and production company Walden Media may have been to blame.
