Drops of blood stained the carpet leading up to the back entrance of the New York Knicks' locker room. The glass portion of a nearby fire-extinguisher case was quickly replaced. And Amare Stoudemire needed doctors and paramedics to treat a postgame cut on his left hand....

Senh: This is just bizarre. Amare Stoudemire punches a fire extinguisher and messed up his hand pretty badly. He's probably done with the playoffs. Well, the Knicks had no chance with to beat the Heat with him in the line-up anyway.

Stoudemire agrees to five-year deal with Knicks

The New York Knicks finally got a return on their two years of self-induced misery on Monday, finishing up the final touches on a five-year contract for Phoenix Suns free agent forward Amar'e Stoudemire that is expected to be worth around $100 million. A source indicates a formal announcement from Stoudemire should be forthcoming within the hour at Madison Square Garden.

Senh: Getting Amare Stoudemire is pretty good for the Knicks, especially since he's re-uniting with former Phoenix Suns coach Mike D'Antoni. Although I don't see how they can be title contenders playing for a coach not known for defense. I guess like the Suns, they'll at least be entertaining.
