'Die Hard' Director Pleads Guilty to Perjury in Wiretap Case

"Die Hard" director John McTiernan pleaded guilty Monday to lying to FBI agents and a judge during the investigation of Hollywood private investigator Anthony Pellicano in a wiretapping case.

 

Movie director indicted on counts related to Pellicano case

A Hollywood film director who pleaded guilty three years ago to lying to the FBI in connection with the Anthony Pellicano investigation, then withdrew his plea, was indicted Friday by a federal grand jury in Los Angeles. John McTiernan is charged with perjury and making false statements to federal agents.
