Watching “Dancing With the Stars’ ” results show Tuesday was a bit like watching “The Karate Kid” all over again. Despite a badly injured leg, Daniel LaRusso… er, Ralph Macchio … took his crane stance once again and knocked competitor Romeo out of the running for the coveted mirror ball trophy, leaving a look of complete shock on judge Carrie Ann Inaba’s face. But this time, the (temporary) victory wasn’t based on the performance. It was all about the fan base.

The trouble started just as the show was about to end. As Romeo waited for his scores, Carrie Ann Inaba could be heard telling another judge what to give him. Or did she?

The judge also says the threats sent to the studio - such as an envelope containing white powder addressed to Palin - "can be scary."
