If you weren't watching the Tonys too carefully, you would have thought they had turned into the Oscars. Sunday's show was a night for celebrities and for the meaning of celebrity, when Academy Award winners Denzel Washington and Catherine Zeta-Jones took home their first Tonys, and when the most honored play, "Red," was itself a meditation on art and commerce. Other familiar faces included Will Smith and Michael Douglas, Helen Mirren and Daniel Radcliffe, and "Glee" stars Matthew Morrison and Lea Michele.

With its power hitters, "Glee" and "American Idol," at the plate Tuesday night, Fox won the adult 18-49 race for a third consecutive evening, with the former freshman series becoming the top-rated scripted series of the season in the process.

"Glee" returns, and so does Cheerios coach Sue Sylvester, to no one's shock. Also this week: "Kick-Ass" hits theaters, "Deadliest Catch" returns without Captain Phil.

"Mad Men" won despite a big night for Showtime's "Dexter." Michael C. Hall won for best actor in a drama and John Lithgow won a supporting actor honor.
