Consumer Reports magazine said it can't recommend the iPhone 4 to shoppers because of persistent reception issues caused by touching the Apple phone, and raised questions about Apple's explanation for the glitch.

Facing complaints from users, Apple said the new iPhones use a “totally wrong” formula to display signal strength.
