What if you mix multi-touch in with that massive size? That's what Perceptive Pixel has done, and they've just introduced the world's largest projected capacitive display at the SIGGRAPH 2011 conference.

When Microsoft released Windows XP in October of 2001, the software got upbeat reviews and sold briskly. But I doubt if even XP's biggest boosters would have predicted just how long-running a hit it would be. Nine years later, it's still the the world's favorite operating system.

And hopefully not the Bugs of the Nexus Ones.

So why did Google wait all this time to implement multi-touch when its devices have been capable of it since the G1? With Apple and Google now fighting, all bets are apparently off.
