James scores 45, sends East finals to Game 7

Lebron James

LeBron James pushed away elimination, right along with any defender who tried to stop him....

Thunder close out Spurs in 6, move on to Finals

Kevin Durant

Kevin Durant had 34 points and 14 rebounds while playing all of regulation for the first time all season, and the Oklahoma City Thunder claimed a spot in the NBA finals by beating the San Antonio Spurs 107-99 on Wednesday night.

Bosh returns, but Heat fall in Game 5 to Boston

Chris Bosh

Chris Bosh was moved by the raucous ovation he got when checking into the game... Kevin Garnett scored 26 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, Paul Pierce scored 19 - including a huge 3-pointer over LeBron James' outstretched arm with 52.9 seconds left - and the Celtics moved one win away from the NBA finals by beating the Heat 94-90 on Tuesday night.

NBA Playoffs: It's Over for San Antonio Spurs

I agree with Charles Barkley, it's over for the San Antonio Spurs.

They haven't shown that they could win a game in Oklahoma City. The two games they played there, they lost convincingly - one of which was a blowout. The Thunder and their fans will be fired up and ready to go for Game 6.

The Thunder seemed to the Spurs all figured out.

Ibaka's Game 4 Performance Was A Fluke, According to Hoopdata.com

From Foxsports: “According to hoopdata.com, Ibaka was a bitter 25 percent this season on shots taken within 10-15 feet of the rim. In Game 4, he was 6 for 6. Perkins made 21 percent of his attempts from that range during the season, but made 2 of the 3 he unleashed Saturday night.”

Thunder beat Spurs, move one win from NBA finals

Kevin Durant

Look who's unstoppable now. Forget that incredible San Antonio streak of 20 straight wins. That's ancient history, and the way the Oklahoma City Thunder have taken complete command of the Western Conference finals, the Spurs might soon be finished themselves.

In Celtics-Heat Series, Refs Favoring Heat So Far

I’ve been watching the Boston Celtics battle the Miami Heat in the NBA Eastern Conference Finals, and so far the referees seem to favor Miami. I’ve written about the obvious late non-call on Dwyane Wade when he slapped Rajon Rondo’s face during a layup in game two. That non-call lead to a fast-break and two extra points for the Heat. It’s a four point swing that decided that game.

Celtics Beat Heat, Tie Series

The Celtics' big lead gone and leading scorer along with it, Rajon Rondo had a message for Kevin Garnett. "It's time," Rondo said. "We have to take the game over." And when that still left the Miami Heat with a final chance, the Celtics turned to an old Garden ghost as Dwyane Wade launched a 3-pointer that would have won it.

New Found Respect for Oklahoma City Thunder's Serge Ibaka

I’ve always known Serge Ibaka as a shot blocker. He’s almost like a younger, smaller version of Ben Wallace without the rebounding. He plays the power forward and center positions for the Oklahoma City Thunder.

In yesterday’s NBA Western Conference Finals game against the San Antonio Spurs, he was a perfect 11 for 11, scoring 26 points mostly from mid-range jumpers. I didn’t know he’s so accurate outside of the painted area. In the past games I’ve seen him play, he’s only good for put-backs.

Rondo, Celtics beat Heat 101-91, trail series 2-1

Kevin Garnett

Garnett had 24 points and 11 rebounds, Paul Pierce scored 23 points and Rajon Rondo had 21 points with 10 assists to help the Celtics avoid falling into a 3-0 hole in the series after losing the first two games in Miami.
