A glass canopy fell off of a high-rise condominium building and onto a parking garage two stories below on Friday morning and partially flattened the structure, authorities said.

Officials are trying to assess the damage and whether anyone was hurt in the collapse, Hackensack Fire Capt. Thomas Salsedo said. Emergency officials are looking into reports that two people may be missing.
