Rupert Sanders Reportedly Out of 'Snow White and the Huntsman 2'

When director Rupert Sanders was caught getting cozy with Kristen Stewart by the paparazzi, Universal was placed in a difficult position in regards to the Snow White and the Huntsman sequel. Should the studio pretend nothing had happened and move forward with everyone on board, as awkward as that sound? Or maybe get rid of Snow White all together and center the next movie on the Huntsman character?
It turns out the situation may have resolved itself.
According to Radar Online (via FilmSchoolRejects), Rupert Sanders has dropped out of Snow White and the Huntsman 2.

First Kristen Stewart reportedly lost her boyfriend of three years, Robert Pattinson, after cheating on him with her “Snow White and the Huntsman” director, Rupert Sanders. Then came the reports that she was dropped from the “Snow White” sequel.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Universal has decided not to proceed with the sequel to Snow White and the Huntsman. Instead, the studio will do with a spinoff focusing on Chris Hemsworth's character, the Huntsman. Kristen Stewart, who plays Snow White, is not going to be in the new movie, and it is likely that director Rupert Sanders will have no part in this as well, but his role is unknown at this point.
