Jeff Bridges' sci-fi sequel "Tron: Legacy" has leaped to the top of the box-office grid with a $43.6 million opening weekend, according to studio estimates Sunday....

"Tron Legacy" has a very strong start with $18 million on Friday. "Yogi Bear" found $4.7 million and "The Fighter" climbed to third in its initial expansion with $3.925 million.

Producer Jerry Bruckheimer confirmed today that the teaser trailer for Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides is scheduled to hit theaters with TRON: Legacy on December 17. With both films being released in 3D and IMAX 3D, we assume the teaser will be shown in the format for those specific theaters and in 2D in conventional theaters.
