IGN has posted a new video interview segment in which Mark Millar ( Kick-Ass , Wanted ) talked more about his new secret superhero movie. Millar says he will direct the independently-financed film this summer in Scotland.

Mark Millar, who created the comic books that Wanted and the upcoming Kick-Ass were based on, has announced that he is lining up a superhero movie that will mark his directorial debut. He posted the following on his official forums.

WANTED comic feature adaptation director Timur Bekmambetov is gearing up to get started on the film's sequel and he recently confirmed, according to THIS SITE, who translated from a Russian site, that Angelina Jolie's sexy assassin character Fox will be back. How exactly that's gonna happen considering she sort of [SPOILERS] died in the first film is unclear but there was some prequel talk being tossed around so maybe...

Last month, it was announced that Evan Spiliotopoulos was taking over screenwriting duties on Wanted 2 from the first film's writer, Chris Morgan. Morgan tells MTV , however, that he is still involved with the sequel.

Last week, it was announced that Evan Spiliotopoulos has been hired to write the script for Universal's Wanted 2, based on a story by Chris Morgan. There was some negative feedback as Spiliotopoulos is credited as co-writer of Pooh's Heffalump Movie and its DVD Halloween spin-off. But Mark Millar, creator of the graphic novel and producer on the sequel, says that's not why he was brought on board.
