A partridge is a type of bird found naturally across much of Europe, Asia, and Africa. There are over 40 species of partridge, from 14 different genera, that occupy a diverse range of habitats and niches.

There are three different species of true Partridges, the Grey, Daurian, and Tibetan Partridge. All three species are relatively similar in shape, size, and color.
