Donnie Yen was promoting “Ip Man 3” as his last martial arts film, but when it broke box office records late last year in Hong Kong, Malaysia, and Singapore (and pulling in strong numbers in neighboring regions) before it opened in China, he told netizens during an IMDB Q&A that a fourth installment is “very likely.” Before giving a definite answer, Yen and his producers were waiting to see how it would do when it opens in China, the world’s second-largest film market.
