Nonprofit Sues N'burgh Scrap Firm Over Runoff

CITY OF NEWBURGH — An environmental group filed a federal lawsuit Friday in which it alleges that, for at least a decade, a City of Newburgh scrap metal and demolition company has been allowing contaminated stormwater to flow into the Quassaick Creek without a state permit or preventative measures.Ossining-based Riverkeeper is accusing Complete R&R at 1 Wisner Ave.
