Streets were closed to traffic in San Francosco’s North Beach neighborhood as police investigated a suspicious package Tuesday night, officials said. A resident reported the package around 6 p.m. near the intersection of Sansome Street and Pacific Avenue, police spokesman Gordon Shyy said, and after an initial investigation the bomb squad was called in. As of 9:30 p.m.
