Norway's Aksel Lund Sinvdal Wins Lake Louise Downhill

LAKE LOUISE, Alberta (AP) — Norway's Aksel Lund Svindal won the first men's World Cup downhill of the season Saturday.Svindal finished in 1 minute, 47.29 seconds for his fifth career victory at Lake Louise. He missed most of last season because of a torn Achilles tendon.Italy's Peter Fill was second, a hundredth of a second behind.
