NEW YORK (AP) — Authorities are looking for an armed bandit who robbed the Queens Zoo of nearly $5,000 during a daylight robbery. It happened around 4:30 p.m. Sunday at the 18-acre zoo in Flushing Meadows-Corona Park. Police say the gunman pointed a black handgun at two zoo workers and demanded money. Police say the employees complied and the suspect fled. There were no injuries.
