There has been no link established between the death of a man Monday at Pampa Regional Hospital and his visit to Lake Meredith over the weekend, Lake Meredith National Recreation Area officials said in a news release issued Wednesday. A physician who treated the man, who was not identified, suspected the man’s death was caused by a strain of flesh-eating bacteria.
