By Kyle Schwab Staff Writer kschwab@oklahoman.comAn Oklahoma City man who spent time in prison for shaking his 2-month-old daughter in 2009 has pleaded guilty to fatally shaking another infant while on probation. Brandon Lamont Ross, 28, accepted a plea deal and was sentenced Monday to life in prison without the possibility of parole for the death of 3-month-old King Barnes. "I shook King Barnes, causing his death," Ross wrote in plea paperwork. As part of the plea deal, Oklahoma County prosecutors dropped their request for the death penalty once he pleaded guilty to first-degree murder. In August 2010, Ross pleaded guilty to one count of child abuse, admitting he shook his daughter.Read more on NewsOK.com
