By Nolan ClayStaff writer nclay@oklahoman.comOklahoma County's judges have been ordered to conduct only emergency hearings the last two weeks in December. Presiding Judge Ray C. Elliott announced the restriction Wednesday. The change is "due to the upcoming holiday season and the continued COViD-19 pandemic, in order to reduce the risk of infection," Elliott wrote in his order. Excepted from the restriction are already scheduled hearings on victim protective orders, evictions and any other cases that have to be held because of statutory deadlines.Read more on NewsOK.com
