Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark may best be remembered for its John Hughes-era hits like “If You Leave” and “So In Love.” [...] since its 1980s heyday, the British synth pop duo (known simply as OMD) has continued pushing forward with its distinctive brand of electronic music. The group is set to release its 13th full-length album, “The Punishment of Luxury,” in September and will preview it with a career-spanning show that touches on both its experimental roots and pop peaks.
