Ou Football: Sooners Planning On 25% Fan Capacity

By Ryan AberStaff writerraber@oklahoman.comNORMAN — It’s been a long time since OU football played in front of a less-than capacity crowd at home.That figures to change this season, though the plan is to have at least some fans in the stands.The athletic department announced Wednesday it projects limiting capacity to 25 percent at Gaylord Family — Oklahoma Memorial Stadium this season.“The capacity reduction will allow us to create distancing in the seating bowl,” OU Athletic Director Joe Castiglione said in a release.Read more on NewsOK.com
