According to city attorney Wanda Cochran, City Administrator Ken Grimes made the decision to terminate Wanda Price in November, she appealed and Mayor Tony Kennon upheld the firing at a December hearing. Now the appeal is in the hands of the city’s Personnel Board that will decide whether the city followed the proper procedures in terminating Price.
