New Line Cinema has acquired Josh Golden's spec script "Road to Oz" which chronicles the early days of "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz" author L. Frank Baum. Baum was a prolific writer who penned that famed book and its thirteen sequels. He also wrote over two dozen other books.
