Palmyra Passes Preliminary Budget Without Funds For New Firehouse

The $2.78 million budget will raise taxes by .14 mills to 2.2 mills. That translates to about a $25 a year increase for a home owner with a house assessed at the borough average of $178,000, for a total of about $392 in municipal taxes.
