(AP) — Vanessa Panousis scored 20 points, setting a school record for 3-pointers in the process, and made four free throws in the final 36 seconds and 15th-seeded Virginia Tech pulled off another upset in the ACC tournament with a 51-45 win over seventh-seeded Pittsburgh on Thursday. Panousis hit four 3-pointers to give her 132, moving her to the top of the career list in two just two seasons for the Hokies (12-19), who knocked off 10th-seeded North Carolina State on Wednesday. Virginia Tech, which led 19-17 at the half when Taijah Campbell scored just before the buzzer, quickly pushed the lead to nine when Panousis hit back-to-back 3s before two minutes passed in the second half.
