Park Service Seeks Input On Permit Plan

National Park Service officials want input on a proposed rule that would require permits to use off-road vehicles in the Lake Meredith National Recreation Area. The planning process for the changes started in 2008 and included proposals and public meetings for comment as part of a larger effort to update the park’s Off-Road Vehicle Management Plan, according to a news release. It’s been about four decades since there were changes.
