KINGSPORT — More upgrades and improvements are coming to Bays Mountain Park. What’s going to be done this spring is creating 75 parking spaces near the nature center and connecting the park to the city’s sewer system at the bottom of the mountain. Park manager Rob Cole said work should start on both projects in February and take less than three months to complete. A PLACE TO PARK Parking has long been an issue at Bays Mountain.
