House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said the House will consider legislation to repeal the Trump administration’s travel ban on several countries about two years after the Supreme Court upheld the measure. The initial travel ban, which was implemented in early 2017, placed restrictions on travel to the United States for citizens of Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, and Yemen. The latest iteration of the ban applies to travelers from Libya, Somalia, Syria, and Yemen—four countries that have experienced civil war and rampant terrorist attacks in recent years.
