Penrose-St. Francis Health System once again made Healthgrades' list of 50-best hospitals in the nation - making it 10 straight years with such a distinction. The hospital system joined five other hospitals in the nation to receive the accolade every year for a decade. "This is because of all you, and your unwavering commitment to quality," said Margaret Sabin, the hospital system's president and chief executive, to doctors, nurses and staff members during a lunch celebration. The quality ratings are largely based on data submitted to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
