HOUSTON (AP) — Gregorio Petit's first career home run put Houston on top in the eighth inning and the Astros held on for a 3-1 win over the Blue Jays on Friday night, snapping Toronto's six-game winning streak. Jose Veras (1-1) got the last two outs of the eighth inning for the win and Chad Qualls threw a scoreless ninth for his 12th save.
