By Brandy McDonnellMustang bladesmith Mike Cleveland competed on Wednesday’s episode of the History Channel Series “Forged in Fire: Knife or Death.”The Oklahoman took a 12.25-inch Tanto chopping blade onto the reality show, on which competitors are required to undertake tasks like slicing through flying watermelons, hacking through massive ice blocks and severing various types of ropes, tubes, metals, food and item-filled crates.Co-hosted by WWE Hall Of Famer and Tulsa native Bill Goldberg and Special Forces Veteran and Edged Weapons Expert Tu Lam, the series assembles America’s top blade-smiths, martial artists and knife experts as they slice, stab and chop their way through daunting obstacle courses.In this series, competitors bring their best blades, ranging from America’s historical Bowie knife and a Viking Saex, to a medieval sword and a traditional Japanese Katana.Read more on NewsOK.com
