JONESBOROUGH — Ronquille Joyner rushed for 153 yards on 16 carries and scored a touchdown to lead the David Crockett football team to a 21-7 season-opening victory over Seymour on Friday night. Joyner, who missed last season because of a torn ACL, was overcome with emotion after the Pioneers’ win. “I just wanted it so bad tonight,” Joyner said.
