Police Identify Worker Killed In Verla Explosion

NEW WINDSOR - Town police have identified the Verla International employee who was found dead after explosions and a fire at the cosmetics factory on Monday as 57-year-old William Huntington of Newburgh.Police Lt. Michael Farbent said Huntington's body was found at 7:31 p.m. Monday, as Vails Gate and New Windsor firefighters and New Windsor public works employees were working in an area of the building where the first of two explosions occurred.
