(By Cleve R. Woootson Jr., cwootson@charlotteobserver.com) A Gaston County woman has been charged with assault with a deadly weapon after police say she shot her boyfriend during an argument. Lamanda Lynn Walton, 31, is also charged with possession of a firearm by a felon. She was in Gaston County jail this evening with no bond.
