LOS ANGELES — A judge has recommended that conservative attorney John Eastman lose his California law license over his efforts to keep former President Donald Trump in power after the 2020 election.
Eastman, who was previously a visiting scholar of conservative thought and policy at the University of Colorado Boulder, faced 11 disciplinary charges in the state bar court stemming from his development of a legal strategy to have then-Vice President Mike Pence interfere with the certification of President Joe Biden’s victory.
State Bar Court of California Judge Yvette Roland’s recommendation, issued Wednesday, now goes to the California Supreme Court for a final ruling on whether he should be disbarred.

Puebla was driving a 1999 Kenworth T800 box truck on the afternoon of June 13, 2022, when he crashed into a 2015 Ford Edge driven by 20-year-old Aaron Godines.
Godines and four passengers were killed in the crash – his parents, Emiliano and Christina Godines, who were 51 and 47; his wife, Halie Everts, 20; and their 3-month-old daughter, Tessleigh Godines.
The family was returning home to Gillette, Wyoming.
The crash occurred on northbound Interstate 25 near Colo.

It’ll all look familiar with a dose of Bradley Beal thrown in.
It will also be the first time since that barnburner of a second-round series last spring, however, that the sides see each other at full strength.
That much became clear Wednesday night when Denver point guard Jamal Murray and Phoenix center Jusef Nurkic were ruled out for the rubber match of the three-game season series.

Taylor Makar has heard all of the chirps.
Makar has chosen to follow in his famous brother’s footsteps, first playing for the Brooks Bandits in the AJHL and now at the University of Massachusetts. When a 900-foot container ship struck the San Francisco–Oakland Bay Bridge in 2007, the span stood firm and no one died, either on the ship or the highway above.
The bridge’s supports were protected by a fendering system of concrete and other materials that was installed to absorb such strikes.
