The survey of 504 voters, taken April 9-13, shows a public confused about a nationally watched “gun battle” shaping up in the Evergreen State. Seventy-two percent of those surveyed backed Initiative 594, which would close the “gun show loophole” by requiring criminal background checks for those purchasing firearms at gun shows and on line.
