DALLAS (AP) — Dallas County has launched a new program that requires people convicted of domestic abuse to surrender their guns. The program seeks to enforce state and federal laws that forbid firearm possession for people convicted of abuse and subjects of protective orders, as well as those seeking bond or probation on a family violence crime.
